Series Funding
Series funding is the process that starts after seed funding. It’s the next round of fundraising after the seed funding round. There are three rounds of series funding namely Series A, Series B, and Series C funding. If required, Series D funding rounds can also take place.
Series A/B funding is typically used for growth and research while Series C/D funding occurs when, having an established base, the purpose is to exponentially increase a company's market capitalization.
Startups face heavy competition (especially from MNCs), a lack of competitors, and a lack of skill. Sufficient funding helps resolve those matters directly or indirectly.
