Taiwan has a humid climate, especially Taipei with its rain of 50% per year, resulting in a habit of residents not going outdoors for exercise. Parker is designed as an exercising park to solve this specific problem.
Set retractable awning above in the park. Usually collapse up like a public building art, both a function of street lamp. When it rains, the roof will not only automatically detect and open for people from the rain, but also collect rainwater as a garden plant irrigation and toilet water. The solar panels on the park surrounding buildings is a source of electricity.
Regular track fields replaced by a natural trail way, not only provides more than a place to run, users may enjoy the natural environment.Located nearby Yenping Riverside Park, observation decks are established to provide connection with nature.

Ceiling Opening and Closing Operation
Not only is Parker a specially designed ceiling, it involves architecture lining beauty and lighting, providing the park a new leveled beauty experience, all through the parking lot to the entrance of the park and restrooms. Plans are to expand its range towards local residents in the near future, bringing it to life. It provides not only an outdoor sport space in rainy days, but gives the space beautification, greening and activation.
