Interaction Furniture- The Necessity Of Mud On Desks

It's all about changing the deteriorating relationship between indoor humans and indoor plants.
As you charge your phone each day because you use it every day, how about your plants? If they are functional in practical necessity, will you remember to water them every day? In indoor environments, it is not uncommon for plants to be left to die after purchasing them. It is imperative for us to change the way indoor plants interact with living humans.

Plants here are on the desk, but not only on the desk. Rather, they are on the desk, in the desk, and are the desk. They all serve a purpose, they are not just decorative. Their function can range from something as simple as a pen container to a medical kit to a photo frame. They are your on-desk stationaries, your personal garden, and the place where your thoughts stray when you sneak off from work.

This project was done towards the end of my master's program. My previous experience in graphic design has excluded me from furniture and garden design. My designer career was totally different from “make a table”, as I rethought what I could do to change.

As a result of this "table garden," I made the table out of plain MDF wood from screw to screw, calculating every scale from the leg to the angle of the hole in the table top. The garden was meticulously planned down to the smallest corner, as if it were a table garden. I see my ability goes beyond just graphic design and digital platforms. It such one of the most creative things I have ever done during my career as a designer.

As a result of a successful exhibition held in London, the table garden received a great deal of public acceptance and praise.

We should never be satisfied with our relationship with plants in our homes. We know that the universe began with a beautiful garden, the Garden of Eden. Therefore, by the logic of things, we should be able to cut out a piece of it, and place it on our desk.
