friends of jaclyn
Friends of Jaclyn is a non-profit organization that pairs children who have pediatric brain tumors with college sports teams through their adoption program, in order to help encourage and motivate the children throughout their treatment. This is a redesign of their identity, including a logo, website, and brochure along with a postcard.

When Jaclyn was diagnosed with a brain tumor, she was adopted by a college lacrosse team as an honorary team member. Since lacrosse is the sport that started it all, I used the circle as a recurring design element as a loose reference to the lacrosse ball. The color palette is based on the colors for childhood cancer and brain cancer.
When the brochure is removed from the sleeve, it reveals the second half of their slogan - “Live in the Moment, Play in the Moment" - through the die cut. If a team wishes to sign up to adopt a child, they can remove the pre-paid postcard from the photo corners in the brochure, fill in their information, and mail it back. Once the postcard is removed, a message welcoming the team as part of the Friends of Jaclyn family is revealed.
