First is my original drawing. To be honest, I had no clue where I was going with this. It was just random artwork just to attempt to gain back some skills that werent in use for awhile. It obviously a poorly drawn background. So due to the lack in creativity, I just took a simplier approach and threw in a frame and banner to give it a more nautical feel. 

 

I sincerely do suck at color, so the best I can do is use black and white gradients, this was my first attempt. So far I'm satisfied with it. Im sure there's flaws, but I'm happy to come up with this after an extremely long hiatus.
