A work for hire piece I did a while back for Fantasy Flight Games and Lucas Films. I was asked to do three illustrations which were to be put onto game cards. This first one is Yoda, the second is Mon Mothma, and the third a Guardians of the Whills.
For this last one, I was told by FFG that I would be able to draw an original monk character, and that she could be female...but later I was told that that was a misunderstanding between FFG and LF, and "she" was supposed to be an illustration of an established minor character from the comics who is a male...So in the end, the inhouse team made her a he. The last image shows the final one that was ultimately approved....I still like my original better but...You can't win them all, I guess. :/
