Poster and Social Media Posts

For this project, I was tasked with creating a poster and three matching social media posts for a made-up event.  To advertise the Kingdoms Court Ball, I used intense colors with high contrast to create a dramatic feeling. This gives viewers insight into the fantasy-like theme of this event. In the poster, I created hierarchy between the title and supporting details through using both a dramatic font with multiple layers of stroke (title) on top of a simple serif font (details). This emphasizes the title as the main element of the design. I found a lot of inspiration for this design from looking at fantasy book covers.

In the social media posts, I repeated most of the design elements (fonts, colors, and illustrations) while simplifying them for a smaller size.
