My idea was a pistol with a special electromagnetic barrel which stores the projectiles at the end of the barrel, so the user has to change it after it gets empty. The electro-magnets are powered by a high energy dense solid-state battery which is rechargeable. The capacity of the battery is enough for firing 244 rounds (two loaded barrels).
Not my best idea, but I'm kinda satisfied with the overall design. Maybe it's just because I haven't done many pistol designs yet.
