Pelvic physical therapy isn't just for women, right?

Not true again! Physical therapists do see more women than men. However, men can also experience pelvic floor dysfunction because they have pelvic floor muscles just like women do. However, physical therapists also treat men with bowel dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, urinary stress incontinence, pelvic pain relief, and tailbone pain. The most common diagnoses they treat for men are post-prostatectomy-related incontinence and various forms of male pelvic pain. So if you are a man and experience some of the above-mentioned issues get them treated by a good physical therapist.
