The Newfoundland breed is known to be sweet, soft, and large. Newfie’s also have an affinity for kids, which explains their nickname the ‘nanny dog’. With the breed’s characteristics in mind, I wanted to give this branding a strong, yet soft and playful feel. The shapes that create the wordmark take inspiration from paper craft and building blocks which are a common experience children share.
