I had the opportunity to create the logo and the first album cover for my colleague and dear friend Sven and his Death Metal (or some such) band Borg 64. The band name is heavy influenced by the Borg from the Star Trek universe. So the cube was a natural starting point when I went into this project.

I wanted a logotype I could explain. So I started with a square. And then I cut it in different angles and started building the logo from the shapes. It was a huge hit by the band immediately. I adjusted the distances and started sketching on the album cover.

There were a lot of sketches. The only thing they were clear with were the colours and that they wanted it to have with the mind to do. Finally we decided a "brain tree" was what they liked most. So I proceeded to deliver the final product.
