Beam
This piece of art is the very first and the most valuable component of “nigahbanXtiles” collection. This work is the one that beams out of a mind which is full of darkness and soppy due to the heavy rains and trying to find its way with the help of lightning which might be horrible for some. It is like the blue sky seen among my gloomy clouds. That is why it is called beam.

Traditional patterns are used in this work. Animal patterns called “Rumi’’ are predominant throughout work. Rumi patterns are the stylized forms of eagle and etc. The flowers called “Hatayi” are common on “S Geometry” in the work. Hatayi pattern is the stylized form of “Peony” flower. In addition to this, there are also “Goncagül” patterns. Goncagül represents the first flower that blossoms. It is not possible to think of this very first work of the collection without goncagül.

I would like to mention myself at the end so as not to overshadow the content and the beauty of the work. Firstly, I want to start with nigahban -that is me-. This is a persian word and it means guardian. The drop symbol on my logo represents my imagination which beams through all that darkness. It is me who is the guardian of that drop. Perhaps, we can all find happiness if we might be the guardian of even one drop of the things that are valuable to us.

Now I leave you alone with the work.
