Shapes and Movement: 2022 Klint

"2022 Klint" is inspired by Sweden abstract artist, Hilma Af Klint. Upon observing Klint's work, the piece that stood out to me the most was entitled, "The Ten Largest No. 6". I admired the many loops, swirls, ovular shapes throughout the piece because they demonstrated movement. I also really liked the color palette she chose; mixing beautiful pastels with neutrals. I chose to include "2022 Klint" in my final portfolio because I love the feminine feel, and the many different minuscule, yet eye-catching details.
