Krank is a hardware line that was designed to stand out among the competition through reflecting the needs of any interested buyer. In the initial stage I talked with a variety of people to see what they disliked about typical hardware packaging. The overall response was that there was too much information competing for attention, making it harder for the average person to find the tool that had the essential features they were looking for. To express the ideals of craft and working with your hands everything was screenprinted on kraft paper.
