Project Brief
The intention of this project is to identify and map out an existing user journey* and then to analyse that journey, identifying the strengths and weaknesses from a user’s point of view and pinpointing key places for improvements to be made. One then needs to demonstrate an understanding of UX principles, usability best practice and user-centred design thinking in redesigning an improved user journey as a flow of wireframes. User Interface (UI) Design focuses on anticipating what users might need to do and ensuring that the interface has visual elements that are easy to access, understand, and use to facilitate those actions. The intention of this project is for you to reimagine the current visual language and components based on what you’ve learned from IOW 300.4. In addition, you’ll need to compile all your UI elements in a mini UI style guide to explain the style, application, and usage.

Design Strategy
This project is a redesign done to improve KZN Wildlife's current mobile website. The useability of the website is not ideal. There are many issues such as buttons that are too small to click on, no search function and a section of buttons that takes up half the page. For these reasons, this website needed to be redesigned with better user experience in mind.
The colour palette used is a more simplified version of the original (since the original had too many variations of blues and greens). Together with the simplified colour palette and a more simple but effective wireframes created in the first phase of the project, these new designs are more user friendly.
