Yurbuds Advertisement Designs

Yurbuds are a brand of headphone designed for athletes and active people.  Built to be water and sweat resistant these headphones are guaranteed to stay in your ear no matter how hard you work out.
PRINT ADVERTISEMENTS
For my print ads, I came up with the idea of portraying the extreme lengths people will go to keep their headphones inside of their ears.  In turn I used the tagline "Don't Be This Guy" to deter people from doing these ridiculous actions and insisting their problem can be solved with a pair of Yurbud headphones. SOCIAL MEDIA DESIGN - #BETHISGUY APPLICATION
For my social media design, I created a new application.  The #Bethisguy application can be accessed once the consumer finds the code in the box of that their headphones came in.  The application take inspiration from instagram and reddit by allowing users to upload and share various playlists while being able to follow and upvote other users pictures and playlists.  Different users can be featured on the main scream by how many upvotes they recieve and become the "featured guy."  The posts will also be linkable to instagram, facebook, and twitter to help promote the Yurbud brand further.
OUTDOOR GUERILLA MARKETING IDEAS
To appeal to the outdoor extremists, a large headhpone fixture would be featured at the top of a rockwall where the climbing rope is fed through.
To help promote the water resistance of the headphones, larger fixtures of the headphones would be place on the handles for wake boarders and water skiers during various competitions.
To get to the snowboader market, Yurbuds will create a luxury chairlift the will be featured at various snowboarding competitions.  The chair will be cushioned and have speaker playing.  To capture the eye of the consumer, large headphone fixtures will be place on both sides of the chairlift.
INDOOR GUERILLA MARKETING IDEAS
To connect with my indoor market, I decided to go to the one place they all will be, the gym.  I wanted to do something that kept with the humorous side of my campaign and place large plastic ears on the various equipment.  To add to this promotion, people can take pictures of themselves working out on the equipment and share it on various social mediat to win merchandise.  All they have to do is tag #Yurbudear on their post to enter.
YURBUD COMMERCIAL
For my commercial to chose to utilize the tag line "Don't Be This Guy" again and showcased a person wearing generic headphones at the gym.  In the first shots you see him running on the treadmill and then it transitions into his headphones falling out, the runner trips over the cord, and falls off the treadmill.  The tagline then appears and is followed by a product/logo shot.
