From a TV Show to a project
Drama, bloodshed, love, and dragon have always been the staple of the fantasy genre. Lately, the spectacle show "House of The Dragon" has been the center of attention and steadily becoming a standing monument aside from its former Game of Thrones series in popular culture.
The lore, characters, and concept have captured our attention to dig deep into the fantasy and mystical world. Therefore, for 2022's Halloween event, we decided to create the "Fire and Light" project, combining mixology and photography along with the material from the show concept to create a themed cocktail photoshoot.

THE IDEAS AND CREATING THE SET
War and fire are the chosen theme for the setting. In the set, we use smoke, coins, and jewelry to show the houses' wealth and the aftermath when everything would eventually burn to ashes.

THE COCKTAILS
The two drinks named "Fire and Blood" and "Light the Way" are inspired by the story's two central characters. We wish to convey the spirit and nature of Rhaenera and Alicent via the two cocktails.
Fire and Blood
With a base of pepper-infused vodka, stir well with Campari liqueur, hibiscus syrup, and pomegranate juice served on the rock you will find the compassion and temper within.
LIGHT THE WAY
Combining the herbal sense of gin, vermouth, and absinthe with the sweet & sour taste of green apple, you will find the house Hightower to be noble, but lying under is a cunning force.
