Looking at a world swallowed by the promotion of media, consumerism and entertainment finding creative inspiration for something new seems impossible. I am reminded to focus on what matters to reach a creative solution that does.
Looking at the aesthetic world around me, certain visual elements stand out. Especially in mediums I spend time using. Our understanding of these allows us to see the layers that go into the work. Our appreciation grows for all creative presence in our surroundings. This appreciation for these mediums everywhere reminds me how reliant we are in the natural elements that make up our planet. Much like the natural elements, creative disciplines also shape the world. Without either elements the world as we know it would not exist.
Inspiration is everywhere.
