Ryan’s Daughter Photography is run by Kate Ryan and based in the Waikato, New Zealand. The creative brief for the brands identity involved developing a logotype that referenced the Art Nouveau movement, yet remained modern and sophisticated. The typeface incorporates slight flourishes on the horizontal bars of the letter “A,” similiar to type treatments used in the Art Nouveau period. The look and feel of the typeface also reflects a modern aesthetic, with strong geometric lines.
