由於學業的壓力以及電子產品的濫用，青少年中近視患者的人數逐年增加，青少年近視問題愈發嚴重。很多學生家長以及學生自己並沒有科學護眼、科學用眼的意識，對於近視問題也沒有得到充分的重視。
近視，在醫學上是屬於屈光不正的一種情況。這本掛歷名為「屈光者掛歷」，我把首頁當作眼鏡，內頁當作眼睛的觀察對象，用來模擬近視患者在日常生活中的視角。我將周期信息和日期信息分別在不同的頁面印刷，當沒有首頁的時候，就沒有辦法正常的查看這個掛歷，就像近視患者失去了眼鏡之後，根本無法看清這個世界一樣。希望以這本掛歷，能讓更多的人了解近視的危害，愛惜自己的眼睛。
