"Megaera, Tisiphone and Alecto" 2014, Ink on Paper - Gustave Doré cover
These days I have be re-immersing myself within the works that were my strongest influences in my formative years so I have decided to create some pieces which I am loosely referring to as "Covers" which to me is the visual equivalent to a musical artist doing a cover of a old song that was perhaps a strong influence on that particular band or artists and their musical style. So my second piece in this series is one of my favorite Gustave Doré illustrations of "Megaera, Tisiphone and Alecto" from the "Divine Comedy". Doré is one of my foremost influences and this is my humble cover version of that iconic piece.
