Dadou is a 31 rooms hotel, located near the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Their initial desire was to offer a unique experience, different from standards and classic hotels. With a cinema-pool in the basement, an elevator that produces bird sounds and its slogan "Parisian with a twist", Dadou breaks away from expectations.

The visual identity concept is based on french expressions as well as poetry and writing.
Letter, word, punctuation; their use is governed by various codes which sometimes favour reading, readability, meaning, etc.
We chose to free ourselves from those rules by taking inspiration from less conventional typographical uses such as calligram or emoji :-)


From french language little-known expressions to clichés, each sentence becomes a playground that combines form, support and meaning in a singular visual result.
The logotype uses the typeface "Le murmure" and its omnipresence on many supports reinforces the gangling aspect of the place. Dissonant-looking elements come together, complementary colours that allow all possible combinations, a baseline logo where the word “Twist” reverses along the way… The reasonable ends where the unusual begins.
