À época da chegada dos colonizadores europeus, os mais de mil povos indígenas que viviam por aqui já tinham um rico e variado panteão de divindades, ligadas com as forças da natureza. Além dos tupis e dos guaranis – dois dos grupos mais importantes –, ianomâmis, araras e dezenas de outros povos deixaram um legado mitológico que permanece vivo até hoje entre os mais de 450 mil índios que habitam o território.

Inspired by the Tupi tale, this is the story of the Goddess of the Moon and the Sun God. I wrote and illustrated this book in 2020 and launched it in 2021 through Catarse.me, a Brazilian crowdfunding platform.
