Eight-twelve is reclaiming olfactory narratives through the curation of indie fragrances by BIPOC candle, incense and perfume makers inspired by Jazz, the African diaspora, and
places near & far.
We were tasked to design and develop an e-commerce store in Shopify that reflects the peaceful and reverent experience that 8-12's product offerings allow customers to feel in their own homes. We used grainy textures inspired by the retro film photography used throughout the site, juxtaposed with graphic serif typography for a modern futurist feel.
