Project
The goal of this project is to make a classical book, as well as an online interactive book. I had to take text from the book Born a Crime by Trevor Noah, and pair with with another text. I also had to connect the story with my hand made type face NITYRN.
Idea
The text that I paired with Trevor Noahs book is a short story by David Sedaris called The Youth in Asia. I choose this story because It's about his families pets growing up. This pairs well with Trevor Noahs chapter Fufi, where he also talks about his families pets growing up. These stories related to my typeface I made because the type is made out of yarn. The stories are about their crazy, fuzzy pets, which compliments the fuzzy, and wild nature of yarn.
Digital Book
The digital book allow for there to be animations, links, pop-ups, and other things you couldn't get with a regular book.
