Brief: In response to the forecasted changes of Southport, a group of architects and artists, inspired by the Brisbane artists’ movements, gather to collectively defy this issue, by situating themselves in the centre of the city on Nerang Street. They buy and renovate the corner of Nerang and Davenport Streets creating a building of resistance (a piece de resistance) and a social condenser against the upcoming changes to the city.
