Some sky lantern festival tests – actually based on a project I did a couple of years ago now, rendering using Cycles in Blender. Lanterns were modelled and textured in Blender. Particle systems were a combination of Niagara particle systems for the background assets and animated Blueprint actors for the foreground lanterns.
This was made using Unreal Engine 5.1 Preview 2.
