SET DESIGN
Since I am a huge fan of all the beautiful set designs you can see these days,
I wanted to give it a try myself.
The goal for this project was to achieve different moods amongst each set,
while still maintaining a coherent style.
This is achieved by reusing certain design elements as well as objects.
PERSPECTIVE
This set is using a subtle colour palette. It seeks to convey a feeling of calmness and peace.
The soft and sandy tones of the environment, in conjunction with the rough concrete blocks, have
the intention to create a balanced atmosphere.
SUBMERGED
This sets objective is to send you below the surface. It should arise the feeling of
being submerged into a different world.
The further down you go the darker the ocean becomes. This is why the mood of this design is achieved with a slightly darker colour / lighting approach.
BALANCE
This is the most vibrant and vivid set of this series. It´s goal is to visualise the balance within nature.
Ecosystems can be destroyed fairly easy, however if we give nature space to breath,
it will take over and find it´s balance again.
