"Nexus" is a motion graphic project in which I explore our relationship between nature and technology. Navigating through the spatio-temporal evolution of consciousness from self-duplicating singular cells to complex organisms, human's distinctive cognitive attributes have been developed to set our domain in-between. In the midst of our existential crisis, the illusionary nature of technological interface captures every moment of our life. Despite the sixth mass extinction we are in, at the expense of our environment and other life forms that we share in our ecosystem, the expansionary approach to exploiting our resources doesn't even slow down. No matter how bright the technology looks, could our emancipation from nature be possible without annihilation?
