What does the Manguare.red logo mean?
In the foreground are the Manguares, two drums that represent both human language and the spirits of women and men. The group of rhizomes that intertwine behind the drums are graphic metaphors of trees, roots, rivers, and the human and more-than-human Mind that eco-logically govern the set of intricate relationships that we call the Amazon biome. Our logo therefore represents the intertwining of the Amazonian knowledge with both the human mind and the spirit.
