Being a Voice
Sdg stepped up to be a voice for the children of Chicago who suffer in silence from sexual abuse. In April 2012, we designed and executed a one-day public exhibit in Daley Plaza in downtown Chicago to bring awareness
to the subject during Child Abuse Awareness Month. The event titled "Voices for 3000" was in recognition of
the estimated 3000 cases of child sexual abuse each year that go unreported in Chicago alone. The Chicago Children's Advocacy Center are the first responders for these children and their families.
