WHY REDESIGN THE BIXI APP?
The Main Problem
The route is not easy to set for our main users. It gives them just an overall view of the route but they're often stops in his tracks to pull out his phone because he can't remember all the details of the route.

• What do I gain by using Bixi instead of my car?
• How to allow users to contact the service center at any time?
• How can I remember the details of my trips?
• How to make the app faster to use?
• Can I recommend Bixi to friends who don't know the city?
User Persona
🤔 Emotional State :
He loves using Bixi. However, he is not comfortable because he can't hang his phone on the handlebars and often has to stop in the middle of his ride to check his route.
🥰 How make him feel more comfortable?
Make sure that the application he has in his pocket or bag tells him when and where to turn. Allow him to set up a route more fluidly and quickly.
👍 What he wants?
Use his phone to choose his bike, and set his route quickly. Put his phone away and pedal to his destination.
👎 What he doesn't want?
To have to stop and consult his phone during his ride, to get lost in the city, to have to scan every sign to see where he should turn.

Have the issues been resolved?
• What do I gain by using Bixi instead of my car?
Improved route planning allows me to save time and plan more complex routes. Voice notification system allows me to drive instinctively. I have now the pleasure to move by bike, Im active, respectful of the environment, I avoid the traffic and I do not have to buy my own bike.

• How to allow users to contact the service center at any time?
Compared to the old version, the help button is much more present and visible every time I use a bixi. The rest of the time, it remains available in the settings. This reduces the need to search and the chances of missing it.
• How can I remember the details of my trips?
Strong visual elements help to capture the steps of the route more quickly by picto, colors and the categorization of places. Voice notification now means you don't have to remember the whole route.
• How to make the app faster to use?
Widgets offering links to favorite stations and the search bar save precious time by introducing yourself to the users at the welcome screen.

Persona transformation
Jean no longer stops in the middle of a bike path or on the side of a dangerous boulevard to look where he is. He uses the application instinctively and much more often than before. The application is now set for him and his its travel habits. Every time he opens his home screen, the widgets remind him that he can use a bixi anytime.
He is proud to use bixi and tries to convert as many of his friends and family as possible. He is now aware that he has a healthy and green mobility.
