Suspended pieces of metal for weight to hold the string in tension. many of the pieces were collected from freinds houses thrown away as junk. They serve 2 very important purposes here weight and sound.
The resonators above can be plastic, buckets, aluminium vessels and membrane thin enough to catch the vibrations coming from the string and metal below.
