Inspired by New York City´s 311, the Citizen Service Center 1746 is the main communication channel between the Rio de Janeiro's City Hall and city dwellers. The center operates 24 hours per day and receives requests via phone (1746), website and application for smartphones. After the request, the citizen receives a protocol number, which allows the application to be accompanied. Through 1746, the locals can make requests, reviews, suggestions and complaints.
