Biogune Office Building at Zamudio's Technological Park, Bizkaia

Located in the Zamudio Technology Park, Bizkaia, the Biogune Building has 10,000 m2 of open-plan and flexible spaces on the premises, establishing a close relationship with its surroundings, in a double play on reflections and transparencies on one hand, and volumes and textures on the other hand.

 

Thus, the building focuses on the use of three main materials: slate, wooden composite panels and concrete, each representative of the project’s desire to create different feelings that communicate with the surroundings, via the tension that may be generated from the volumes used and through the use of the materials themselves.

 

Glass, combining its transparency qualities with those of reflection, further enhances this relationship of strength and tension, eliminating limits or even inverting them. In this way, a building with a strong presence also has a high level of integration.
