Humble.

The home printing market is saturated with products that have been born out of the ‘office environment’. Their functionality, usability and styling originate from an environment intended for business, high levels of productivity and heavy usage.

‘Humble’ moves away from conventional expectations of a ‘printer’ through simple and enjoyable interaction, heightened convenience, improved space economy, better ink level awareness and a reduction of work-related equipment visible in the home.

The result is an engaging, intuitive, personal and practical solution to home printing. Meet Humble.
An engaging object.

In the moments when we physically interact with a home printer, why does it have to be a bland, frustrating experience?

Humble has soft edges, attractive forms, fabric and matt textures that invite you to touch the product and experience a home ‘printer’ in a new light.

When you’re ready to use Humble, press the cushioned power button to turn her on.
Paper that lasts.

Opening the neoprene cover exposes the paper compartment. Here, up to 100 sheets of A4 paper can be inserted and held in position without bending over time. By closing the magnetic cover the paper is kept free from dust and is ready to be used.
Keep it simple, stupid.

By fully opening the cover, humble automatically gets ready to print. Hit print on your computer and Humble will print your page via wireless. The cover also acts a neat landing area for the prints to rest on. No flimsy plastic trays in sight.
No more nasty surprises.

A sliding panel clearly and accurately displays the levels of ink left and allows you to keep an eye on them during the print.

No more guesswork. No more complex software or finding out ink levels when you press ‘print.’ Just pull the neoprene cover down and take a look.

Who gets into their car in the morning and puts the key in the engine to be told that they have no petrol? No one. By being made aware, people can better prepare which ultimately means no more last-minute dashes to the nearest ink store.
Whoops! Paper jam.

Let’s face it. In an ideal world printers shouldn’t jam. But realistically, there’s always a chance they will. Paper is a very hard thing to hold steady and control around curves. This can’t be ignored.

If Humble ever jams, simply pop off the front panel and open the internal door to gently pull the paper out.
No-nonsense scanning.

Opening the cover on the other side exposes the scanner. Simply place your document, reciept or passport against the glass and close the cover to hold it tight. Humble detects the document and automatically scans it to your computer. When you’re done scanning, close the cover back up. Easy.
It copies too, y'know.

Open both sides at the same time and humble recognises that you want to copy something. Place your document against the glass and close the cover on the scanning side...

...then wait for your physical copy to be printed on the opposite side. Job done.
Space saving.

Current home printers take up a lot of space. By rethinking the location of internal components, Humble achieves a practical size for the home that won’t get in the way.
Invisibility cloak.

To attach the cover, sit humble in the centre and bring the sides up until the magnets gently snap in place. There’s no right or wrong way about it. Just help Humble to become a part of its environment.
This time, it's personal.

Choose from ten different neoprene covers to suit your style or match your home interior. It's completely up to you.
