LAS MECÁNICAS DEL SOLLOZO
Is an editorial project that reveals the different types of weeping in response to a feeling; whether it is positive or negative. Furthermore, the project was developed around the concept of “collective intimacy” which derives itself from the need of a physiological manifestation of a feeling that has been repressed by society.
The project’s main objective is not only to point out a cultural phenomenon but also to trigger repressed memories within the reader in order to create an emotional bond between the product and the audience.
While the types of weeping may be unique and unrepeatable, crying is a collective emotional manifestation.
