Black and White photography provides the opportunity to focus more on the composition  and subject matter rather than the colours. This was an exercise in using the design skills I have from Illustration and applying them to a different medium. I had to really think about composition when taking film photographs because there was only a set amount of exposures and no ability to undo things like I usually can in digital art!
