While working on amenity & toiletries packaging for a hotel chain in Kerala, I had done some experiments with non traditional substrates (translucent sheet ~ butter paper) hoping that the humidity will not affect the packaging in Keralan weather conditions. High levels of atmospheric humidity calls for materials that worked even if it was exposed to moisture. Butter paper (cellulose based wax papers) seemed like a possibility and here is the result!
Photographed on a Nikon with B&W film, scanned on a flatbed, posterised on Photoshop and then inversed - printed on translucent on a desktop inkjet Unfortunately this did not go into production.
