The sales team needed a direct mail piece to cut through all the clutter of new offerings for the Medicare market. These pieces usually show seniors enjoying health care benefits, and those images are overused by all health care marketers. This piece was created to show that clients could get more than what they expected from the Blue Shield product portfolio in an unexpected and amusing way without diluting the overall message. This piece was well-received and got a higher than usual response rate.
