Coming out this September is an 800-page book on the comprehensive history of Bohol province. From its pre-colonial times to the present, it provides an excellent reference on local history into the origins of Bohol’s towns. Written by Prof. Emmanuel Luis A. Romanillos, a retired professor from the Department of European Languages, College of Arts and Letters, University of the Philippines Diliman. The cover art in this original hardcover is the ceiling painting of Jagna church. The National Historical Commission of the Philippines decided to print only in paperback.
