Fall 2019

This is the artwork that really led to to realizing my artistic abilities.

In the fall of 2019, I was tasked to create a color pencil drawing of food. I chose a image of an Eggo Waffle that I had found in a magazine.

I began the process by using a grid to sketch out the waffle using pencil. After that I did some practicing and strategizing on a separate piece of paper to figure out how I would draw the squares in the waffles as well as the details on the strawberries. I then applied all of that on this paper using Prismacolor Scholar colored pencils.
