Nogemu is a Tile Game created by chance. Everything started because of my son. His teatcher told me he needs to play dices games to to practice mental arithmetic. I’m not into board games so after some round of small horses game i started thinking about what kind of game we would enjoy to play together. At this time i was watching “Stranger Things” where the kids used to play D&D. I thought this was something my son would like to play to but he was to young to handle the rules and the length of a D&D game. I started thinking about how a kind of a D&D game could be simplified to match the interest and patience of a 7 years old boy. I started experimenting with some post-its, it worked, we played with his friends, it worked, i improved the concept, etc .... Here is the result.
The main idea is that the player have to create and explore a dungeon round after round where he will find some traps, bonuses and foes that he will fight with some dices. If he survives till the end he will have to defeat a Boss to win.
When you start a game you have to choose a Hero.
Each hero belong to a class, there are 3 classes that have there own skills : Warrior = Force, Engineer = Dexterity, Magician = Magic Heroes will have to defeat ennemies and bosses by lowering theyre Health Points to zero while ennemies will try to do the same to Heroes. Each ennemy has strenghs and weaknesses regarding the classes
the story takes place in the near future where a team of teenagers with extraordinary powers must prevent an unknown enemy from invading their world ( more or less ... )
I wanted to create something with a SciFi inspiration but simple and minimalistic.
I have so many tests and graphical elements, used or not,  that i coud double or triple the lenght of this case study but i think that if you read this you’ve wasted enough time ;)
