They say that animals can speak on Christmas Eve but before that, for a whole month, meeting in a common dream, they walk through a magical forest invisible to us.
Christmas on the Balconies is a project of photographer Adas Vasiliauskas born during the Covid-19 quarantine. It’s like an alternative Christmas, encouraging you to create a holiday on your balcony, because at that time all social life was severely restricted.
Since I live in a residential area with a lot of young families and children, my goal was to create a festive mood for the children; when walking around the gray neighborhood, they would suddenly see windows of a random balcony lit up in different colors and the silhouettes of mysterious animals appear behind them.
