The You've Got A Friend at City Hall campaign was created to increase community awareness by highlighting City employees and the wide array of jobs and responsibilities that they do on behalf of residents.
This campaign introduces the community to City staff to show a personal side of the City organization and make residents associate real people with their local government. By putting a face and a voice to the City, the aim was to show residents that there are real people available to help them.
This Campaign include bus shelter ads, advertisements, social media posts, articles and educational messaging, using comprehensive outreach methods. Each City Hall friend will be featured in a compelling image that will be showcased in each of these formats. Each friend will also be featured in a brief video talking about their job and showing their work. These videos will be posted on social media – with an emphasis on Tik Tok. Posters were printed and displayed prominently throughout City facilities.
