I was recently commissioned to produce some murals and drawings for an Illustrators group show in the wonderful Riverbank Arts Centre in Newbridge, Ireland. The show is called: Step on a crack and break your mothers back! and runs from March 8th to April 11th. Do drop by if you are in the area.
The theme of the show is superstitions and I chose to do something around good luck / bad luck! The murals took about 6 hours to complete from start to finish and were painted using matt emulsion, rollers and a brush. I wanted to keep it loose with a limited pallette and lots of energy.
The framed drawings were executed in ink and watercolour on Arches hot pressed paper.
