Urban Reconversion Plan of the Ex Zoological Garden in Colón, Buenos Aires - Argentina

The study commissioned by the Municipality of Colón, province of Buenos Aires, aims to prepare the urban blueprint for the former Colón municipal zoo. A sustainable, inclusive and innovative Urban Park is designed, which is integrated into the city through strategic circuits and reaches the entire community through meeting spaces, recreational, educational and social activities. The planning, design and management process was based on a collaborative, multi-stakeholder and participatory strategy, led by the City and with the active participation of the social actors involved.
Specifically, the work includes the design and preparation of the project plans (plans, sections, views), 3D models of the proposal; the survey and proposal of renovation of the afforestation; and the planialtimetric survey, including existing buildings, infrastructures and equipment.
