This cookbook cover has been redesigned from a previous one of mine, still available to be viewed here on Behance. In the previous design, the illustrations were crude and the colors lacked cohesiveness. This new design offers a slightly softer color palette, while retaining colors that speak to the food world. I chose a round, inviting font for the title and contrasted that with a slim, but equally friendly one for the description. Repeating the title has offered a fun feeling and an opportunity to reinforce the color palette, tying the wording and illustrations together. The food illustrations now have a new illustration style, where in they are much cleaner and more polished. The prior design had a background element that was out of focus, and I have completely removed that, as it did not serve to enhance the design. Removing that allowed me to further make the bowl and falling foods the star of the show. The new elements of the design create a piece that is clean, easy on the eyes, and immediately inviting.
