Brand Identity

InnovaMI is an open innovation project promoted by Milano4You and Red (in collaboration with Talent Garden) to bring out innovative ideas on the smart city of tomorrow. Two are the challenges: wellness solutions on one hand, living spaces of the future on the other. 

DilloStudio designed the brand identity of the project, from the naming to the visual identity, including the design of the landing page used to collect ideas from freelancers, studios, agencies and students.






It all started with a 'simple' question: when can a city really be called smart? When does it bring real value to the lives of its citizens? In our opinion, when it is able to: be inclusive, foster its construction from below, be connected (in the broadest sense of the term) and be able to reshape itself to embrace change.

With this in mind, we immediately thought of a living, dynamic, flashy identity, made up of different shapes and colours and able to change shape according to the different communication channels.






What better reference than children's constructions? High, low, narrow, wide, simple, complex, capable of giving life to ever new worlds and contexts when assembled with curiosity, knowledge and a desire to experiment. Hence the choice of a rich, vibrant palette, whose colours have been associated with essential shapes such as the circle, the triangle and the rectangle, to represent the concept of inclusion, so fundamental to the smart city of tomorrow. The resulting identity is extremely dynamic, always ready to reshape and appropriate the space made available to it.
