Single family home in Jelgava, Latvia. The owner request was for a modern and minimalist single-story building with an outdoor parking for 2 cars, an additional power source from solar panels, conveniently serviced from the flat roof and a cozy courtyard with a small pool for children.
concept
A tall glass vestibule with plants divides the house into two parts: residential and technical. The simple geometry of the house with planning solutions and technical equipment of the house provides a personal space for each family member. Finishing part of the facade with travertine, concrete panels with panoramic windows and metal details fit perfectly into this area. The optimal solution for landscaping a small area will be a recreation area in the northern part with small ponds, a garden and green gas.
